    Its been about 10 years since i've made anything for SBBS in the last week i've uploaded on vert 2 mods that you may like.

    Sysop pager - cool ansi page thingy that really pages the sysop. It's more fun the the default chat.

    Logon.js replacement, Instead of Last Few callers, you get a nice ansi header too go with it.

    let me know if these mods appeal to anyone , im kinda intrested in what people think.

    I just uploaded the files to vert so telnent / ftp

    filenames: mm_sp10.zip and mm_ljs10.zip

    I downloaded these and the page mod is working great.. But for some
    reason the logon.js isnt.. I still see the normal last callers.. I
    even deleted logon.bin to make sure it wasnt using it..

    I do have a request if possible.. Ive been looking for a rumors mod..
    I found one that mostly works but doesnt have the src files so I can
    fix the part doesnt work.. It doesnt display the @ codes correctly
    for some reason.. It only does this when it displays the rumor if you
    list them from the add rumors part they display correctly..

    Regarding your need for a rumors program. I know there is one in the PiPELiNE bbs shell i made. I think its on vert still just search for pipeline. It was written like 10 years ago but i think it will work still.. I remember putting sample screenies of the configuration in the .src code. I bet.. You can get it to work and it was a nice program if i remember correctly.


    The logon.js should be in c:\sbbs\exec

    It's possible the default synchronet shell has REPLACE TEXT commands, that may replace the code written in the JS file. I dont use shell default.

    I have a setting under SCFG > SYSTEM > Toggle Options > Display Sys info at logon? I say no to that. Possibly that has something to do with it.

    Your bbs might need to be reloaded. I'm sure you already did this.

    On my bbs i didn't do anything with the logon.src file that comes default with Synchronet. Im not sure that would matter in this problem.

    Lastly, You have to have a more then a first caller of the day for it to appear. Were there no callers before you?

    I really cant think of anything else why it wouldn't work.

    I fixed it.. It was because I was using the ezlogon mod..:)
