"bonk, "son of bonk", and "amax" are three BSO manipulation tools i could not think of yesterday when we were talking on IRC...

"son of bonk" is apparently an OS/2 PM remake of "bonk" done by Jim Dailey... "bonk" is a DOS based tool to manipulate the BSO files and is a subset of OMAN which was part of the Opus CBCS system stuff done
by Tom Kashuba and Ulf Nilsson...

anyway, i thought i'd drop you a note about those BSO tools and what to hunt for... good luck!

Thanks for getting back to me - I've got Son of Bonk in my mailer utilities folder on the BBS, but couldn't find Bonk.

I miss running the BBS under Windows 2000 Workstation, you could run OS/2 console utilities on it seamlessly...

Do you have a pointer to BONK? I can't find it online anywhere.

For the time being, I'm running my old Radius mailer, pointed to my Binkit outbound, and with the TCP/IP daemon turned off. That seems to work.

search for BONK_174.ZIP... that's the latest version i was able to find... the files inside it are dated 1992 Jan 27... a quick perusal seems to indicate that it does also have support for points... if you
cannot locate it, let me know and we'll work out the easiest way to get it to you...

what's your fido address? i may be able to drop it in your inbound easily enough...

i've sent both BONK_174.ZIP and SOB_008B.ZIP... i can also sent SOB_110.ZIP if you want it... i sent 008B because it has a text file in it with the history of SOB and i thought you might be interested in
    that...

NOTE: i have not tried any of these tools... i only know their names, what they do, and that many binkleyterm operators used them or similar to manage their BSO back in the day...
