  • console.writeln errors..

    Hey there, and sorry if this is a crazy question, but what am I doing wrong?

    I downloaded knk.js today and after reading the doc to set it up in scfg identically, even its location, and I am receiving the following error:

    !Javascript ../xtrn/knk/knk.js line 130: TypeError: console.writeln is not a function

    But this is displayed after right after the introduction screen where everything is centered, detailing the original "KnK" author and this javascript version.

    I downloaded knk v1.12 on the CVS repo.

    My version of SBBS is:

    Synchronet BBS for Win32 Version 3.14a
    Revision a Dec 31 2006 03:20 SMBLIB 2.43 MSC 1200

    jsexec.exe has a Modified date of Dec 31, 2006 as well.


    I apologize if this has been answered before, but I could not find an answer with google search and search through these forums.

    Revision a Dec 31 2006 03:20 SMBLIB 2.43 MSC 1200

    console.writeln() is a 3.15 function, not present in 3.14a. You'll need a build from the last 16 months.
