• Issues on RPi4 after late

    From WitNik@VERT/BGGRSCYN to All on Tue Nov 10 17:45:00 2020
    Hi Everyone,

    After following the usual documented update method, I copied relevant updates to exec/ctrl from repo to production directories and performed the build/rebuild process on the RPi 4, While there were no compile errors, I started to experience the following errors repeatedly during terminal sessions:

    Nov 10 22:12:23 raspberrypi synchronet: evnt BBS Events BBS Events thread terminated
    Nov 10 22:12:23 raspberrypi synchronet: term Node 1 <WitNik> !ERROR 2 (No such file or directory) in exec.cpp line 805 (exec_bin) opening "/sbbs/exec/????????.bin" access=0

    This was occuring regularly throughout the login process.

    I tried the following steps:

    * Checked file permissions
    * Ran cleanall script
    * Clean Rebuild
    * Ensured .bin files were available in /sbbs/exec (jsexec update.js)

    I ended up having to restore my system from backups. Any idea what is causing this? Am I missing additional steps that I may need to take? I'm running my BBS on Raspberry Pi OS (32-bit). The only thing pecular is that my BBS terminal session would throw the errors and show blanks or junk characters where '????????' was logged in syslog.

    Thanks,
    -WitNik

    I'm seeing the exact same error on 64-bit Debian 10. I suspect we both updated from git while a bug crept in. They're good at fixing these quickly.
