I usually get that message when I post a duplicate message to my message base, like my monthly BBS ad. Do you have dupe checking turned on?

Ok. I copied all the files from /sbbs/repo/exec/*.js to /sbbs/exec. What did I miss?

Apparently you missed the sub-directories.

No. I mean 'cp -r /sbbs/repo/exec /sbbs/exec'. Or use a directoy symlink instead.

Rush quote #43:

As much as I hate to ask, this error started not long ago and
I could use a pro's help on hopefully fixing.

srvc 0000 JSON-Service SyntaxError: JSON.parse
From the error.log file.
That's from json-service.js. Check your ctrl/json-service.ini file, and for any json scripts (e.g. doors) that are specified, double-check that their *.json files aren't corrupted somehow.
If you look at the activity log output (e.d. data/logs/MMDDYY.log) from that date/time, you should be able to easily correlate which script/door is triggering the error to narrow down your search. --

out with a list of commands.
The the files are: CBBSNET.qwk & DIGDIST.qwk
Did you check the file? Is it a valid ZIP file?
