Depends on what you mean by "better". I usually use Telnet, personally.

Which is better for logging in to Synchronet BBS?

I think this comes down to what you are trying to accomplish. I recommend SyncTerm as it supplies 100% ANSI-BBS compatability and renders complex ANSI perfectly.

There are some issues with SSH, for example, SSH keystores and utilizing them for passwordless logon, but otherwise, pretty good. If you are on a Mac, you'll only get one window, which drives me crazy, but it works.

good. If you are on a Mac, you'll only get one window, which drives me crazy, but it works.

If you have iTerm, its pretty good.

Otherwise to have more than 1 syncterm window open, you can "open -n /Applications/SyncTERM.app" to get another one open.

I usually use ssh via SyncTerm after I've initally created an account, if I remember to switch it.

this is a first to me that there is issues with SSH.

Use it to login to an AWS EC2 instance. It don't work. It requires passwordless logins, therefore, a local keystore must be used.

I use Rlogin usually, but when remote, I'm running over an encrypted VLAN. SSH, if I have to connect over the open Internet.
