I haven't changed my oneliners config in years, and noticed the other week that it stopped working. I did do a SBBS upgrade recently.

My config looks like it should in the docs - but if I try to run Oneliners from the online door list or at login I get this:

2/22 04:49:29p Node 1 <poindexter FORTRAN> Oneliners error: Error: Unknown module: ONELINERS


The only thing that looks weird is the internal code of ONELINER instead of ONELINERS, but that's the way it's always been.


Any suggestions?

Well, my memory is only half as bad as I thought it was, then. I was in the same book, at least.. (an .ini file) just wrong page (modopts.ini vs json-service.ini). ;)

I haven't been able to get ONELINERS working since I installed the last version a couple months ago.

I'm having a bit of deja-vu here, as I could swear someone else
reported this recently.

By chance, do you have something setup in modopts.ini for this module? Check there and see if the wrong internal code is being used in
brackets.

There's nothing in my modopts.ini related to Oneliners, dated 7/2024.

Nothing changed here and it just stopped working. Using an 8bit atm so will have to log out of the board to go check that .ini file mentioned.

I checked my json-services.ini file and do not have a "oneliners" section, so I will try adding one and restarting. This is very odd, though, as the timestamp on the file is May of 2024 and the oneliners on my board have been working until last month.

Having discussed it in the #synchronet irc channel, we suspect the error is coming from ecbbs and not locally....

That was me..

I don't remember exactly what the fix was, so this is just a guess from bad memory. Hope I'm at least on the same page, though. ;)

There wasnt a fix.. I havent had time to really dive into it, but there shouldnt be a reason for it to not work..
