I sort of feel like our media does not do enough to make the children who commit these crimes sound like criminals. The adults, maybe, but not the children. Just this week, after the Fla shooting, we've had all sorts of
it fucking makes them famous

Yeah, I was watching something about the tide pod challenge a few weeks
ago, when it was all the rage in the media. One thing they mentioned was that, in the past, younger people tended to value things like kindness, intelligence, etc., but now they are supposedly more likely to value fame over anything else.
i saw a pic on fb today.
they asked tide to change the tide pod so teenagers wont eat them.
now they think teenagers should determine gun laws.
Yeah, when I was in my early twenties there was a wave of youth activism abo teenagers sure as Hell aren't.
Yeah, when I was in my early twenties there was a wave of youth activism abo this or that. Seems like adults back then were smart enough to listen but take everything said with a grain of salt and not just hand us the reins.
I worry that the younger adults these days are not that smart. The teenagers sure as Hell aren't.
It has to do with responsibility and fathers present. these folks have seen little of both and do not act like adults. When reality hits them, they act like they were conditioned to. They think Mom will always be there hence the reason why they consume Tide Pods, drugs, ect. Why they engage in damaging behaviour and don't plan for the future. Even as an old conditioned folk, i still saw my liberal friends in High School and they seemed to have more fun doing stupid things. This loss of the social fabric might also lead people act
like morons instead of adults like they should.
People think that freedom is freedom to do as you please, but they forget that >for there to be freedom, there has to be resposibility. People are told to have
fun instead of work hard, people are told to live in the now, instead of plan >for the future. This goes hand in hand with weapons since you have to be >resposable to own and use a weapon due to its power and kill opportunities.
